LightwaveRF plc ("Lightwave" or "the Company") Resignation of Chairman

LightwaveRF plc announces the resignation of Barry Gamble as Chairman and director of the Company with immediate effect. He has been a director for just over six years of which almost five have been as Chairman. He has also been Chairman of the audit committee.

Jason Elliott, Chief Executive of Lightwave, commented: "It is with great regret that the board has accepted this resignation. Barry steered the Company through a number of fundraising rounds whilst on AIM. More recently he has supported the Company’s Strategic Review and the decision to cancel its AIM admission, as the business looks to new funding opportunities.”

Barry Gamble commented: "There have been a number of major developments during my time at Lightwave, including the release of the smart hub, the Apple HomeKit as well as the partnerships created with Google, Amazon and Honeywell Resideo. Although the Strategic Review has yet to conclude, with the Company now departed from AIM, I feel it is the right time for me to step down as Chairman.

I do wish Jason and all the staff well for the future success of Lightwave”

Jason Elliott and Steven Harris will jointly assume the duties of Chairman in addition to their respective roles as Chief Executive and Non-executive board member until a new Chairman is appointed.
