INTRODUCTION

Pelatro Plc provides contextual marketing software for use in B2C applications, with a current focus on providing software to global telecommunications companies to provide contextualised, relevant and personalised communication to its subscribers. Incorporated in early 2017, Pelatro Plc acts as a holding company for the Group. It is headquartered in the UK with offices in the US, Brazil, Singapore, and Malaysia and Global Development Centres in India, Russia, and the Philippines.

Pelatro’s contextual marketing solution, mViva, uses Big Data analytics to study large, diverse, and increasing end users’ data to reveal patterns, trends, associations, and key behavioural travelling. This information is then put to effective use by channelling relevant offers to each customer using a variety of channels such as social media, SMS, email, and app.

COMPANY DIRECTORS

Harry has had an exceptionally accomplished career in the Telecoms/ITC sector. He is a very experienced Chairman and Non-Executive Director, having been on the Board of many international businesses. Harry had a significant career in BT, spanning 30+ years, working across Global Product Management, Customer Service, New Product Development and Marketing, as well as managing significant R&D Programmes. Harry created BT Brightstar in 2000, which was set up to exploit BT’s R&D to create technology spinouts.

Nic is Chief Financial officer at Pelatro and is responsible for all aspects of the group’s financial strategy. He manages the Accounting and Financial Control functions and Financial Reporting to investors and stakeholders. Nic qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and later moved into Investment Banking where he advised small and midcap companies in a broad range of transactions, including IPOs, fundraisings, private company sales & acquisitions, and others. He has held senior roles at UBS and HSBC. Nic was instrumental in Pelatro’s IPO in December 2017 and the acquisition of Danateq in 2018. He has a B.Sc. in Geography and Geology from Kings College London and is also a non-executive director at Defenx plc. When not managing 6-year old twins Nic enjoys music and tennis.

Subash co-founded Pelatro in April 2013 and is the Managing Director & CEO with responsibility for Sales, Finance, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and General Management. Prior to Pelatro, Subash was the CEO and Founder of Subex Limited, a company he transformed from a systems integrator in telecoms hardware to a global leader in Telco software for business optimisation. He guided Subex through a successful IPO in India (NSE and BSE) in 1999 and through seven acquisitions in the UK, US, and Canada, driving revenues in excess of US$100m, prior to leaving Subex in 2012. Subash graduated in Electrical Engineering with Honours from NIT, Durgapur. Outside work, his interests are reading, poetry writing, listening to music, and travelling.

Pieter spent 20 years working in numerous C-level and board roles for various companies within the telecom industry. These include Telenor, Orange, and MTN, where he worked across both Europe and Africa.

Sudeesh is Co-founder and COO at Pelatro. His responsibilities include Product Management and Development, Customer Engagement, Human Resources, Marketing, and Consulting.

He has about three decades of experience in the telecom industry. Prior to Pelatro, he was the COO and Member of the Board of Directors at Subex Ltd. At Subex, he oversaw the Post-Merger Integration of its many acquisitions including the then-largest cross-border software product acquisition from India. Sudeesh holds a B.Tech degree from the University of Calicut and has presented many papers in international conferences and has worked actively in many industry bodies. Sudeesh has active interests in reading, photography, and badminton. He is also part of socio-cultural organizations and helps in organizing film festivals, theatre staging, etc.
