COMPANY DIRECTORS

Peter Gaze has been a director of Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited since 2007 and was appointed Chairman on October 8, 2019. He is also a non-executive Director of Marlowe Holdings PLC, Waterloo Investment Holdings Limited, Carlisle Support Services Group Limited and Hawley Group Limited.

Mr. Gaze was previously Chief Financial Officer of Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited from 1997 to 2015 and of Waterloo Investment Holdings Limited from 2011 to 2015.

During its expansion in the UK and US in the period leading up to its acquisition by Tyco International in 1997, Mr. Gaze was a senior financial executive at ADT Group Limited.

Mr. Gaze trained with the international accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Lord Ashcroft is an international businessman, philanthropist, author and pollster. His many, varied business interests include significant investments and participation in both public and private companies in the UK, US and the Caribbean. He was appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Impellam Group plc in December 2014. In 2012, he was appointed a member of the Privy Council and was made the Prime Minister’s Special Representative for Veterans’ Transition, working with all departments to ensure military personnel receive the support they need when making the transition to civilian life.

He resigned from the House of Lords in 2015 to concentrate on other areas of his work. He is a former Trustee and President of the West India Committee, a former Trustee of the Imperial War Museum. In 2016, Lord Ashcroft was made Knight Grand Cross of The Imperial Order of The Holy Trinity (Ethiopia) and a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. In 2017, he was made a Senior Fellow of the International Strategic Studies Association.

He has written 17 books, mainly on politics and bravery and is widely respected for his political polling.

Mr. Stewart Howard has over twenty-three years of banking experience and has worked in varying fields in finance from Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Risk Management, Forex, Operations, Commercial & Retail Lending and Card Services. He started his career with Republic Bank Limited in Trinidad, and in 2010 joined The Belize Bank Limited in Belize later transferring to British Caribbean Bank Limited (BCB) in the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI). In June 2012, Mr. Howard was appointed Managing Director of BCB. During his tenure in the Turks and Caicos Islands he served as the President of the Banking Association of TCI and has worked throughout the region including Trinidad, Barbados, Cuba, Belize and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Mr. Howard is a graduate of the Institute of Banking and Finance as the valedictorian in addition to reading for Management and Finance at the University of West Indies where he graduated with 1st Class Honours.
